How to use it
- Add your child and check the school year. Rename the terms (fall and spring, or four quarters) under Children, school years and backup if you like.
- Pick a term, then type a mark for each subject: a letter, a percent, or a word such as Satisfactory. Add a comment where you want one.
- Type your grading key so the card says what the marks mean. Peabody does not pick a scale for you.
- Press Print the report card for a one-page card with every term and a signature line. Download a backup now and then, because the records live only in this browser.
Ideas for class
- Fill in the card at the end of each term while the work is fresh, then print one copy for your files.
- Use the comment box for one specific strength and one next step; it is the part grandparents and evaluators read.
- Mark the early grades with words (Mastered, In progress) and the older grades with letters or percents; the card takes both.
- Keep the subjects the same as in the hours log and the progress report so the records agree.

Questions
What marks can I use?
Anything up to sixteen characters: letters, plus and minus grades, percents, S and N, or words like Mastered. The page suggests common ones but keeps whatever you type. It does not convert or average them, so the card says exactly what you wrote.
Does this work out a grade point average?
No, a report card only shows your marks. For a high school grade point average, use the weighted and unweighted GPA calculator or the transcript maker, which count credits and letter grades the way colleges expect.
Can I keep several children and several years?
Yes. One book holds as many children as you add and as many school years as you need. Choose the child and the year at the top, and each has its own marks for every term.
What happens if I clear my browser's data?
The records go with it. They are kept only in this browser, not on our servers, so we cannot get them back. Download a backup file now and then; it holds everything, and you can restore it on any computer.
Is anything I type sent to Peabody?
No. The names, marks and comments stay in this browser on this computer. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and the page works the same offline once it has loaded.
Names, marks and comments are saved in this browser only, and nothing is sent to us. No sign-in, no ads.
