Homeschool attendance tracker

Tap the days you had school on a calendar, see your total against the number of days you need, and print a signed record. Everything stays on your computer.

Opening your records on this device...

How to use it

  1. Add your child and check the dates of your school year. Type the number of days you need to reach, if your state or umbrella school asks for one.
  2. Tap a day on the calendar: once for a school day, again for a half day, again for no school. Use Mark Monday to Friday to fill a whole month at once, then tap the days you took off.
  3. Add a note to a day when you want it on the record, such as a field trip. Watch the total and the days to go at the top.
  4. Press Print the attendance record for a one-page year chart with a signature line. Download a backup now and then, because the records live only in this browser.

Ideas for class

  • Fill in the week on Friday afternoon instead of every morning; one minute is enough.
  • Mark whole months at once at the start of the year, then tap the holidays and sick days as they happen.
  • Keep field trips, co-op days and museum visits in the day notes so an evaluator can see them.
  • Use the hours log for the time spent on each subject if your state counts hours instead of days.

Questions

How many school days do I need?

It depends on where you live. Some states ask for a number of days, some for hours, and some for neither. This page does not fill in a number for you. Type the one your state or umbrella school gives you, and use the link to your state's page to check it.

Does a half day count?

Here a half day counts as one half of a day. Whether your state counts partial days, or sets a minimum length for a day, is your state's rule, so check it. If a short day does not count for you, mark it as no school.

What happens if I clear my browser's data?

The records go with it. They are kept only in this browser, not on our servers, so we cannot get them back. Download a backup file now and then; it holds everything, and you can restore it on any computer.

Can I keep several children and several years?

Yes. One book holds as many children as you add and as many school years as you need. Choose the child and the year at the top. The same book feeds the hours log, reading log, report card and transcript.

Is anything I type sent to Peabody?

No. The names, the days and the notes stay in this browser on this computer. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and the page works the same offline once it has loaded.

Names, days and notes are saved in this browser only, and nothing is sent to us. No sign-in, no ads.
