Homeschool transcript checker
Run your Record Book transcript through the questions a college reader asks, before you send it. Each thing to fix links back to the transcript. Nothing leaves this browser.

What the checker looks at
- Credits in all and in each high school year, against the number you type. With no number typed it says so and checks nothing.
- Courses with no grade: in progress before graduation, a missing final grade after it.
- The GPA, worked out again with the same method as the GPA calculator, and any GPA you have written elsewhere.
- Honors, AP and dual enrollment courses: whether the sheet says how they are weighted.
- Course names that tell a reader little, such as "Math 1" or "Science".
- The grading key, the graduation date, the school name and the administrator who signs.
A homeschool transcript for college
A college reads a homeschool transcript the way it reads any other: courses by year, credits, grades, a GPA and a scale it can follow, signed by the school. In a homeschool the parent is that school. Send the school profile with it so the reader knows how you teach and grade, and a counselor letter if the application asks for one. Each college says what it wants on its own admissions pages, so read them first.
Your records stay with you
The checker reads the Record Book kept in this browser. Your credit targets are saved here too, as numbers only. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account.
