Noeo Science
Noeo Science is an open-and-go homeschool science curriculum in biology, chemistry and physics for 1st to 8th grade. What it does well
- Everything for the year arrives together, and a day's work is short: 15 to 20 minutes in 1st to 3rd grade on the four-day schedule.
- Children learn from real books and do more than 70 experiments a course, mostly with household items.
- Courses do not depend on each other, so you can pick biology, chemistry or physics to follow a child's interest.
- One package can be shared by children of different ages, and an experiment kit by two or three working together.
Watch for
- There are no quizzes or tests, so add your own if you need grades.
- The living books are sold only inside a full package.
- There is no Level 3 biology and no high school course; the publisher points older students elsewhere.
- Some common household items, such as baking soda and cardboard, are not included.
It fits
A family that wants open-and-go science through real books and regular experiments, with little preparation.
It doesn’t fit
A family that wants tests and grades built in, or a science course for high school.

What we read, and how we label
Every fact on a card was read on the publisher's own website on the date shown, and the page it came from is linked. A fact we could not confirm there is left out. Costs are for one child and one year of the main package, as the publisher's page showed them that day; prices and sales change. Method and format are the publisher's own description where it gives one. The only thing we say about religion is one label, secular or faith-based, given by the rule above; where the publisher's pages don't settle it, the card has no label.
