Planning tomorrow

  1. Make a plan for tomorrow with times, then check it tomorrow evening to see what really happened.
  2. Your child explains today to someone at home, then writes the main idea in a sentence.
Read-aloud15 min

Read-aloud: Lulu the Lanternfish Lights Up

  1. Read “Lulu the Lanternfish Lights Up” aloud. Give the characters different voices; it helps a young listener follow who is talking.
  2. Afterward, ask your child to tell the story back to you: first, next, last.
