LIFEPAC

By Alpha Omega Publications (AOP)Checked October 31, 2026No affiliate links. Programs never pay to appear. How we label

LIFEPAC is a print curriculum of worktexts: ten slim books per subject for each year, each with its own teaching, activities, self-tests and a unit test. A complete grade set holds five core courses, including language arts, math, history and geography, and science, and there are 20 electives for the older grades. Children work through one worktext per subject a month, about 3 to 4 pages a day, and parents grade with the answer keys and teacher's guides.

What it does well

  • Each worktext holds the teaching, practice and tests together, so an older child can open one book and get on with the day.
  • Self-tests and a unit test in every worktext mean a child shows mastery before moving to the next one.
  • Slim books, one a month per subject, give a clear sense of progress and are easy to carry.
  • Several children can each work at their own level and pace at the same time.

Watch for

  • The parent still grades the work and keeps the records, using the answer keys and teacher's guides.
  • Learning is mostly reading and writing in the worktext, with few hands-on projects or discussions built in.
  • The program page shows no price for a grade set; the price is on separate shop pages.

It fits

A family that wants a complete, independent print curriculum where older children manage their own daily pages.

It doesn’t fit

A family that wants hands-on, discussion-led or literature-rich lessons, or a screen course with automatic grading.

What we read, and how we label

Every fact on a card was read on the publisher's own website on the date shown, and the page it came from is linked. A fact we could not confirm there is left out. Costs are for one child and one year of the main package, as the publisher's page showed them that day; prices and sales change. Method and format are the publisher's own description where it gives one. The only thing we say about religion is one label, secular or faith-based, given by the rule above; where the publisher's pages don't settle it, the card has no label.
