Reading30 min
Read: Sink or Float?
- Your child reads it aloud to you, then reads one page again with expression, the way a character would say it.
- When your child is stuck, say the first sound and let them finish the word, rather than saying the whole word.
- Afterward, ask your child to tell it back: what happened first, next and last?
- Sink or Float?, to read on screenon peabody.kidspeabody.kids/library/sink-or-float

Choosing the ending
- Read both endings aloud and choose the better one, with a reason.

- Read “The Otter's Rock” aloud, and let your child turn the pages.
- Afterward, ask: who was your favorite in the story, and why?
