Water goes around

  1. The sun warms water so it rises into the air, it cools into clouds, and it falls as rain: the water cycle.
  2. Put a bowl of water in the sun with plastic wrap on top, and look for drops under the wrap after an hour.
Social studies10 min

My day in four pictures

Read-aloud: Lulu the Lanternfish Lights Up

  1. Read “Lulu the Lanternfish Lights Up” aloud, and let your child turn the pages.
  2. Afterward, ask: who was your favorite in the story, and why?
  3. On the read-along you can show the pages on a big screen, or let it read the words aloud while each one lights up.
