A plan for the month

  1. Make a calendar page for this month and write three plans on it.
  2. Your child tells someone at home about today, then writes one word for it on the family calendar.

Read-aloud: Dinosaurs Are Still Here

  1. Read “Dinosaurs Are Still Here” aloud, and let your child turn the pages.
  2. This one is true. Afterward, ask: what is one new thing you learned? Then find one more fact in it together.
  3. On the read-along you can show the pages on a big screen, or let it read the words aloud while each one lights up.
