Mother of Divine Grace School
Mother of Divine Grace School is an accredited distance-learning program for homeschooling families from pre-K to 12th grade, founded in 1995. - Placement
- No placement test on the publisher’s site when we checked.
What it does well
- Tuition is per family, not per child, so younger siblings add nothing beyond the oldest child's grade band.
- Scripted daily lessons in the syllabi tell the parent what to do each day.
- An educational consultant helps fit the plan to each child, and the school offers grading and tutoring.
- Tuition can be paid in full, quarterly or in 8 or 10 monthly payments, and financial aid is offered to enrolled families.
Watch for
- The pricing page does not include books in tuition, so budget for them separately.
- Places are limited and applications are taken on a rolling basis, so apply early.
- Registration fees are not refunded, and part of tuition is kept depending on when a family withdraws.
- An 8th grader moves the whole family into the top tuition band.
It fits
A larger family that wants a classical plan with scripted lessons and a consultant to guide each child.
It doesn’t fit
A family that wants to design its own plan from free materials, or one with a single child on a tight budget.

What we read, and how we label
Every fact on a card was read on the publisher's own website on the date shown, and the page it came from is linked. A fact we could not confirm there is left out. Costs are for one child and one year of the main package, as the publisher's page showed them that day; prices and sales change. Method and format are the publisher's own description where it gives one. The only thing we say about religion is one label, secular or faith-based, given by the rule above; where the publisher's pages don't settle it, the card has no label.
