Learn Math Fast System
The Learn Math Fast System is a series of seven math books written by a homeschooling family, running from adding small numbers to high school geometry. Each book has lessons, worksheets, tests and answers with worked solutions, and is written at a fourth grade reading level so a student can read the lessons on their own. Everyone starts at Volume 1, or takes the free placement test to skip ahead.

What it does well
- Seven books cover everything from basic arithmetic to high school geometry, so one series can last from early grades to precalculus.
- Short lessons, plain language and worked answers suit an older student catching up quickly.
- One set can teach the whole family: the worksheets and tests can be printed from the publisher's site.
- The first chapter of Volume 1 is a free download, and a placement test shows where to start.
Watch for
- The books give no grade levels, so a parent decides the pace for a young child.
- Telling time, the calendar, Roman numerals and tally marks are not taught and need another source.
- A five-year-old's first lesson may take two weeks or more, the publisher says.
It fits
An older child or teen who needs to fill gaps or catch up fast, or a family that wants one book series for several children.
It doesn’t fit
A family that wants a colourful grade-by-grade program with manipulatives and a set daily plan for a young child.

What we read, and how we label
Every fact on a card was read on the publisher's own website on the date shown, and the page it came from is linked. A fact we could not confirm there is left out. Costs are for one child and one year of the main package, as the publisher's page showed them that day; prices and sales change. Method and format are the publisher's own description where it gives one. The only thing we say about religion is one label, secular or faith-based, given by the rule above; where the publisher's pages don't settle it, the card has no label.
