Review the letter sounds
- Point to each letter learned so far (m, s, a, t, p, i, n, d, c, o, g, h, e and l); your child says its sound.
- Go back over any sound that is slow, with a word that starts with it.
- Spin the letter wheel for a quick game: say the sound of whatever it lands on.

History15 min
What is a map?
- A map is a picture of a place seen from above. Look down at a toy on the floor the way a bird would.
- Draw the toy from above: what shape is it?
Read-aloud15 min
Read-aloud: Go, Go, Go
- Read “Go, Go, Go” aloud. It is above what your child reads alone, on purpose: hearing longer stories builds words and understanding.
- Before reading, look at the title and the first page and ask: what do you think this story is about?
- On the read-along you can show the pages on a big screen, or let it read the words aloud while each one lights up.
- Go, Go, Go, read-along on screenteach.peabody.kids/read-aloud/go-go-go
