Spell words with s and ending blends

1. Say a word: hand, best, lamp and tent. Your child says each sound, then writes the word.
2. Check each one together and fix any letter that is off.
3. Read all eight s and ending blends words as fast as you can, then once more.

1. 9 + 4: 9 needs 1 to make 10, and 3 are left. 10 + 3 = 13.
2. Do 9 + 6, 9 + 8 and 9 + 3.

A moon diary

1. Start a moon diary: draw the moon each night you can see it this week.
2. Write the date beside each drawing.
