Which letter?

To: Superintendent of schools of the district where your child lives. · When: Before starting, within 10 days of withdrawing from public school, or within 30 days of moving to Nevada.

What Nevada's law asks the notice to give: File a written notice of intent to homeschool with the superintendent of schools of the district where the child lives, on the standard form the Department of Education develops. File it before starting, or within 10 days after the child is formally withdrawn from public school, or within 30 days after moving to Nevada. It includes the child's name, age and gender, the parent's name and address, a signed statement taking responsibility for the child's education, an educational plan, and the last public school attended. The district gives back a written acknowledgment that counts as proof of compliance. If the parent's or child's name or address changes, file a new notice within 30 days. Put each item in the details box, one a line.
