The morning basket
Fifteen to thirty minutes when the whole family sits down together before the rest of the day.
A morning basket is a short shared time at the start of the day, where you read aloud, say a poem, sing, look at art or study one topic together. It lets children of different ages learn the same things at once and starts the day calmly. It adds to your plan: your state's law pages say what must be covered.
